I am a second-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at University of California San Diego (UCSD), advised by ACM/IEEE Fellow Prof. Tajana Šimunić Rosing. My recent research focuses on (i) LLMs and agents for healthcare based on multi-modal sensing data, (ii) Knowledge graph and LLM-augmented 3D scene understanding and decision making, and (iii) Efficient training and inference on resource-constrained devices. My current research is supported by JUMP 2.0 Research Centers (CoCoSys, PRISM) and the NSF National AI Research Institutes (TILOS). Before UCSD, I received my M.S. from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), advised by ACM/IEEE Fellow Prof. Xiang-Yang Li. My interests cover mobile and ubiquitous computing and the design of efficient and secure IoT systems.
I have also been fortunate to collaborate with IEEE Fellow Prof. Vijay Kumar, IEEE Fellow Prof. Hirokazu Kato, IEEE Fellow Prof. Witold Pedrycz, IEEE Fellow Prof. Yusheng Ji, Prof. Chenren Xu, Prof. Hao Zhou, Prof. Yong Deng, Prof. Bingyi Kang, Prof. Haohua Du, and Prof. Jiahui Hou. I am always happy to discuss any interesting ideas and potential collaboration. If you are interested in my research or would like to talk, please feel free to contact me: yet002@ucsd.edu. I enjoy reading about ancient civilizations and watching historical documentaries. I am fascinated by classical art across both Chinese and Western traditions, especially Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and Rococo works. I also love music, hiking, and photography, as well as wandering through new cities in search of hidden corners, savoring good food, and taking in new scenery. At home, I also enjoy cooking.
